Being operates through the Living Well Initiative — a platform of gatherings, programmes, and community membership for people who want to live with more attention, honesty, and genuine connection.
Visitor — £25–45 per event. Attend any programme as a guest. No ongoing commitment. Booking constitutes acceptance of these Terms for that event.
Companion — £45/month or £120/quarter. Membership fee covers admission to all standard programme events during the active period. Priority booking. Reserved seat at the annual gathering.
Co-creator — £500/year. Limited to first 20 members. All Companion benefits, plus involvement in Being's strategic direction. Named as founding supporter unless you prefer anonymity.
All fees in GBP, inclusive of taxes. Payment collected via Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise recurring charges at the stated frequency. If a payment fails, we retry once within 3 business days; access pauses until payment succeeds. Price changes require 30 days' written notice.
Membership cancellation: email hello@beinghome.uk with subject "Membership cancellation." Takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund for the remaining period.
Event cancellations by Being: full refund or transfer offered within 5–10 business days.
Your event cancellation: more than 7 days before — full refund; 3–7 days — 50% refund or transfer; fewer than 3 days — no refund.
Statutory right to cancel (distance contracts): Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from joining to cancel for a full refund. If you request immediate access to programmes, you waive this right and any refund will be reduced proportionally for services already received. To exercise this right, email hello@beinghome.uk with subject "Cancellation Notice."
The Co-creator annual fee is non-refundable after you have exercised or waived your 14-day statutory cancellation right, except where Being cannot deliver the stated benefits.
Companion membership covers all standard programme events. Being does not guarantee any specific event, speaker, or format. As a member or guest you agree to treat all participants with respect; not to record or share event content without permission; not to use Being's spaces for unsolicited commercial solicitation; and to honour the confidentiality of conversations shared in confidence.
Non-discrimination: Being is inclusive and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010. Contact us in advance for access adjustments.
Being reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership where a member's conduct is harmful to others. No refund will be issued in these cases.
Being is registered with the ICO (Registration No. 00013785565). We process your data to manage membership, deliver events, and comply with legal obligations. Lawful bases: contractual necessity, legal obligation, and legitimate interests. We retain member records for 6 years after membership ends and event records for 3 years. We do not sell your data. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Being's liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by Being's negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to the above: Being holds Public Liability insurance and takes reasonable safety precautions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Food & allergens: All events follow the Pure Diet (animal-free, allium-free, alcohol-free). Detailed allergen information is available on request. If you have a severe allergy or medical dietary need, notify us at least 48 hours before attending. We cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment.
If Being cannot hold an event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (venue closure, public health emergency, extreme weather, or similar), Being will offer a full refund or transfer. Beyond this remedy, Being's obligations are suspended for the duration of the preventing event.
All Being content — materials, presentations, frameworks, recordings — belongs to Being Commons Ltd. Members may apply ideas to their own lives. You may not reproduce or commercially use Being's content without written permission.
Material changes communicated by email 14 days before taking effect. Continued membership after that date constitutes acceptance.
Complaints: email hello@beinghome.uk with subject "Complaint." We acknowledge within 3 working days and respond fully within 14 days.
ADR: If a dispute cannot be resolved between us, you may refer it to a certified ADR provider such as the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (cedr.com). We are not obligated to use ADR but will consider it in good faith. This does not affect your statutory rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in full effect.

Being 取消活动：提供全额退款或改期选项，5–10 个工作日内处理。
您取消活动预订：活动前 7 天以上——全额退款；3–7 天——50% 退款或改期；不足 3 天——不退款。
法定取消权（远程合同）：根据《2013年消费者合同法规》，您有权在加入后 14 天内取消并获得全额退款（冷静期）。若您申请立即使用会员权益，即视为放弃该权利，退款将按已提供服务比例扣减。如需行使此权利，请发邮件至 hello@beinghome.uk，主题为「取消通知」。
共创者年费在您行使或放弃 14 天法定取消权后不予退还，Being 无法兑现所述权益的情况除外。
同行者会员资格涵盖活跃期内所有标准项目活动，但 Being 不保证任何特定活动、嘉宾或项目形式。作为会员或访客，您同意：以尊重和善意对待所有参与者；未经允许不录制或分享活动内容；不在 Being 的空间内从事未经授权的商业推广；并对活动中明确要求保密的对话内容保密。
包容与反歧视：Being 致力于建设包容的社群，不因种族、性别、年龄、残障、宗教、性取向、性别认同或英国《平等法 2010》规定的任何其他受保护特征而歧视任何人。如需无障碍协助，请提前联系我们。
如会员行为对他人造成伤害或违反本条款，Being 保留暂停或终止其会员资格的权利，且不予退款。
Being 已向信息专员办公室（ICO）注册（注册号 00013785565）。我们处理您的个人数据用于管理会员资格、举办活动及履行法律义务。法律依据包括：合同履行、法律义务及合法利益。会员记录在会员关系结束后保留 6 年，活动记录保留 3 年。我们不出售您的数据。详见 隐私声明。
本条款不排除或限制 Being 对以下情形的责任：(a) 因 Being 疏忽导致的死亡或人身伤害；(b) 欺诈或欺诈性虚假陈述；(c) 依法不得排除或限制的任何其他责任。
在上述条款的前提下：Being 持有公众责任保险并采取合理安全措施。我们对任何索赔的最高赔偿责任，以该人在索赔前 12 个月内所支付的费用为限。我们不对间接损失或后果性损失承担责任。
食物与过敏原：所有活动遵循净食原则（无动物产品、无葱蒜香、无酒精）。如需详细过敏原信息，请提前联系我们。如您有严重过敏或特殊饮食医疗需求，请至少提前 48 小时通知。我们无法保证完全无过敏原的环境。
若因超出 Being 合理控制范围的情况（包括场地关闭、公共卫生紧急事件、极端天气等）导致无法举办活动，Being 将提供全额退款或改期选项。除此之外，在该情况持续期间，Being 的相关义务暂停履行。
Being 制作的所有内容——包括书面材料、演讲、框架与录像——均属 Being Commons Ltd 所有。会员可将项目中的理念应用于个人生活，但未经书面许可，不得复制、传播或将 Being 的内容用于商业目的。
重大变更将在生效前至少 14 天通过电子邮件告知活跃会员。变更生效后继续使用会员资格，即视为接受。
投诉：发送邮件至 hello@beinghome.uk，主题为「投诉」，我们将在 3 个工作日内确认收到，并在 14 天内作出完整答复。
替代性纠纷解决（ADR）：如争议无法通过协商解决，您可将其提交至认证的 ADR 机构，例如有效争议解决中心（cedr.com）。我们不承担强制使用 ADR 的义务，但会善意考虑。这不影响您的法定权利。
本条款受英格兰和威尔士法律管辖。争议提交英格兰和威尔士法院专属管辖。如任何条款被认定不可执行，其余条款继续有效。
